Lester O Schnell, 61, of Route 1, Kiel, died September 8 at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton.
He was born December 9, 1914 in the Town of Schleswig, a son of William and Emma Voss Schnell. He attended district schools. On March 5, 1941, he married Anita Buchholz at St. Peter United Church of Christ in Kiel. The couple owned and operated a farm in Schleswig.
He was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ in Schleswig, a former deacon and elder of the church, and a member of the Schleswig Board of Health.
Survivors are his widow, four daughters; Mrs. Terry Drammen of Kewaunee, Mrs. Edward Ardell of Plymouth, Miss Doreen and Miss Lori, both at home; seven sons. Roger, Robert, Gerald, Don Lee, Thomas and Dennis, all at home and Randall of Kiel, three grandchildren, and a sister Miss Elnora Schnell of Kiel
